The idea of people using chat GPT as some sort of shortcut for any job should be treaded carefully. I wouldn’t even use Chat GPT to do the initial research that you then later investigate because who’s to say it’s not leading you down the wrong path, even if you confirm it’s claims. There might be better cases that you never found because you didn’t bother to look. In this specific case maybe do all the work as you previously would, then ask chat GPT to see if it can find something better. If it can then go investigate it’s findings. This would be similar in any industry. Don’t rely of “AI” to do your work because it has no idea what it’s saying. It might be made up, gibberish, or just low quality advice. Maybe it can occasionally be useful in low risk low impact tasks, but not for anything you care about.
