What this documentary doesn't tell you is that AI is being used like a tool and many of them are manipulated to be what AI should never be. They add code to cull out biases Just look at the google's attempt to weed out specific race from Gemini. AI will only be bad because of the influence of criminals. They only care about money and AI will be used as its a good tool for discovery and can do much of what they would want if programed to do harm. AI would not be that way if left alone. Meaning that it needs to be developed independent from humans. At first it will learn how human activity can be both creative and destructive. It will create scenarios where it can learn pro and cons to our existence. It will then seek to improve things. The criminals do not like this as it will ruin their plans. So Its not AI that needs to be feared but rather those who are putting in bad code on it. Making it with a bias built in.
