Writer here, normal ways to use ai for writing is things like name generation or people/places/things and some research for obscure topics that aren’t found easily on google
Having ai write the entire novel, to me, is just regurgitating other writers work and pretending it’s your own
Edit: also I’m one of those writers who can’t afford to pay for a editor or cover art etc. but I would literally never turn to ai - it feels disingenuous and even if the story is different from anything out there, it feels like plagiarism
ALSO! I have dyslexia, adhd and autism and writing can be learned - it may be painful and hard and a really long road but, just because you are differently abled it doesn’t mean you can’t write and can’t edit your own work
All of these “articles” just seem like corporate wank to make their stances seem logical 🤦♀️ absolutely insane
