Why musicians are protected and we artists are not? It's very simple: The most famous bands and singers can be easily *milionaires and bilionaires.* They have the monetary power to shut these companies down if they go too far. Visual artists don't have these resources, so companies treated us like moaning peasants, fed to the armies of lazy people that only care about consuming product and that couldn't care less about the effort and love many of us put into our craft. In these 10 years drawing, I've learnt most people see artists as "non workers", "people that don't want to find a real job", despite the paintings on their walls, the movies and games that they play, somehow they are made by someone, doesn't it? If AI would make us all unemployed this very instant, too few people would care to protest for any change. No UBI, no support of any kind, forgotten by lawmakers as well as politicians, too busy praising AI for all the profits it is bringing to them, and only them. All I can hope is that AI abruptly involves so many branches of workers, there will be too many angry unemployed people to ignore. In the meantime, I'll keep drawing what I enjoy making and that I know people follow me for. Art made with care and love.
