IMO. AI use benefits more the undisciplined, untrained, and inexperienced individuals who know nothing about the things they're recreating with the tech. Similar to filters as you get better you use them in a more restrained way. I feel AI is of little use to people who are experienced because at that point it takes from the core aspect, which is the process, the story, the artistic journey.
Speaking about results is the main debate concerning this tech. But even then, the results are imprecise and limited, since the AI can't come up with new stuff, it's closer to tracing from several original works.
Taking a quote, I stumbled online; AI ideally should make boring chores to have more time to do fun stuff, and not do fun stuff in order to have more time to do boring chores.
