Stopping super intelligence being created is what all of the climate change activists and protesters need to turn their attention to. A superintelligence apocalypse makes climate change irrelevant. We need to differentiate between narrow AI development and SI though. AI needs to be treated like nuclear weapons development by governments. It needs to be closely monitored so as to prevent the development of SI.
