Without UBI it is very difficult to generate wealth if people do not have jobs if everything is produced by robots an ai because if you have a property that you rent now no one will be able to pay you rent and so on. Sure, some people might generate money by trading skills like cleaning a house or by being a carpenter it will be some sort of gig economy where everyone does a side job to get pocket money.
