If AI takes over all our jobs, I wouldn't care. If it's going to create abundance, I wouldn't mind living without the need of being productive except for pursuing my own interests.
HOWEVER, AI creating abundance is in direct conflict with our economic system, Captialism: which thrives in artificial scarcity. AI and Capitalism will be at odds with each other. Also, once AI gets fully implemented into our society, it's going to be HARD to gatekeep it. Expect a lot of people to use it to develop free systems that will completely destroy existing competing companies that charge for their services. Capitalism will likely not thrive with AI, and we're more likely going to shift to a different economic system. This could be either a good or bad thing, but either way, IF AI manages to take over our lives, it's likely going to become a lot bigger than the people that created it and likely destroy the concept of money.
Note that AI will also be conducting heavy surveillance on you, so privacy will probably be non-existent. Not that many people actually care about their privacy.
