It really doesn't matter whether AI ever becomes conscience or not. It will still replace jobs across the entire employment spectrum within the next 10 years. Not 100% because that takes time, investment and awareness of its capabilities. But it will have virtually no employment skill limitations by then since robots will be walking around with brains a lot smarter than people.
