Level 6 should be self driving on any backroad anywhere in the world. Level 7 should be off road navigation anywhere feasible for the vehicle’s capability, anywhere in the world. Level 8 should be it can take off and fly itself anywhere and land automatically. Level 9 should be it can take off, leave atmosphere to quickly go to the other side of the earth, and land automatically. Level 10 should be that it can take off, leave atmosphere, and engage FTL travel to visit any star system automatically, and land on any rocky planet or moon.
This is my 10 level system, which I suppose also doubles as a Kardeshev scale of sorts.
