I don’t comment much, but I just want to say that I came across your work almost a decade ago and it actually inspired me to jump back into art at the time.
More recently, I’ve been having similar thoughts to what you’ve articulated in your video. But I think the argument extends far beyond art. This idea of speed-running & optimizing life is so nihilistic. We are all alive now, and we have the *opportunity* to engage, inspire and form relationships with one another. I’m grateful for that, even when it’s the distant memory of a youtuber reminding me art is still fun. When we automate that, we write ourselves out of our own story, and I don’t think anyone truly wants that. It’s great to stumble onto your channel again Lavendar.
