I think you are wrong, it will make art and it will be better than human. However if you generate an AI movie and I generate an AI movie we have little reason to share it, as it was both created to our own specifications. Maybe some small groups might share AI art but it will struggle to achieve any cultural relevance. So in a way we have the option to hold the line by only allowing human work to become mainstream, and be the art we share as a loosely unified culture.
