I've been studying art on my own for quite a while now. Even went and bought my first pentablet which is quite expensive for me.
But the moment i heard that AIs are starting to be able to generate crazy decent art in only a few seconds (which would take some people forever to create. And not to mention the time it takes to actually learn making them) really discourage me.
Feels like im wasting my time trying to do something that can be done better and faster in a matter of seconds.
But i guess it's inevitable the way things are looking now.
I just hope that we can start a movement in which we can minimize AI 'stealing' arts.
At least that way, our work isn't being exploited without our consent.
