Absolutely not. The time to take ai-human relationships seriously is never. Those ppl are mentally ill.
Edit: okay maybe that was too harsh 😕 I can understand it as a bridge to help people come out of their shells a bit & meet real life friends (other ppl who share this interest). And also to help people who might not have as big a social life as they'd like due to disability.
