NO! I've always said "please and thank you" while using AI as well but there have been recent findings telling us that we should actually stop. It's a massive waste of energy resources, notably water, to even have 1 response generated (approximately 1 bottle of water each time we needlessly say please/thank you) due to the massive amounts of water being used to cool the systems that are generating AI machines (predominantly water cooling systems). I just learned this earlier this week. We should actually cut the habit of needless politeness with AI.
