Let's not mince words here, all that talk about "inevitability" is cope and nothing more. The inevitability of AI domination is not an observable fact, it is what it's devotees need to be true in order for their dedication to the theft machine to be justified. They're not thieves, just temporarily embarrassed millionaires and everyone making fun of them is just too stupid to see the vision. Eventually, they think, they'll finally be recognized for their innate genius (citation needed) and all those people who called them idiots were just jealous they weren't on the winning team.
