“Whose responsibility?”
The social media networks need to define what is NOT a user- a deepfake, a Sybil, a troll farm- in order to not use AI to manipulate the stock market, false advertising, election fraud, identity theft.
The American people need to understand they have ZERO PROTECTIONS on the internet against this as long as every user term agreement contract is not defined.
Is AI a USER? Currently, yes. How many USERS online are authentic and inauthentic.
