I don't think AI is trained using your art. AI has an understanding of definitions based on how people define art and it does this simply by reading and looking at everything that is available to read and look at. It doesn't learn how to sketch or paint it just reproduces what most people would consider to be a drawing or a painting. How this affects the industry is a good question especially with it not being the first time electronics has affected the industry. Taking into account of how perfect "The Industry" was before AI it's not quite as simple as AI is stealing our stuff.
