I don't think there is a problem with making your own deepfakes and keeping it private to yourself. This has been done since the invention of photoshop. I think making said picture of someone, showing it off to peers, should be a form of harassment, and I think there is a case to regulate the sale as well. I don't think the guy in question here did anything outrageous, just pretty weird...If I was the girl I'd be upset someone is making money off fake nudies of me...I wish sex never sold. Get a real job, that includes deepfake makers.
