Well... I used to be interviewing software developers to hire them for software developers work. Now, we use AI for coding, and I feel much LESS need for more developers. I can see that I will need more developers as the business growth, but not at the same rate as before. Besides, I am now lot more interested in people who understands Software ARCHITECTURE and being able to clearly articulate good architectural ideas in English. That is the change. I can sum it as "The change from HOW to WHAT". If you see your value in "HOW" - I no longer need your help. I need help with "WHAT" that can be clearly articulated and of high quality. Bluffing your way into it won't do it anymore.
