Man, I lost my shit when they mentioned the idea of getting backstops DAYS after they entangled $1.4T in compute deals. Thank fuck all the people got instantly outraged forcing Sam to do damage control.
I spent like all of yesterday making a long-ass blogpost about this, only to get the info that this (likely) won't happen MINUTES after posting it.
OpenAI has been changing its tune often enough that by the time they actually fail, I expect they won't be against the idea of bailouts anymore, regardless of what they said before.
