Truth be told LLM are very far from a real AI and none of this corporate bozos will be able to make a real one.
Greed makes people stupid and this people are far too greedy. Which is why 95% of AI projects fail. And they do not care as they still get their grossly inflated salaries. Is like the Star Citizen model. Milk it as long as fools will finance it.
That said. AI itself should be regulated but the same way the internet was regulated. The provider is a platform and shouldn't be liable for what the user does. LLM's are not real AI. They just search patterns on the information you provide and give you an analisis back. You can think of them as the next logical step of a search engine. That's why they all act like YesMan of fallout new vegas. If you let your ego out for a while you will notice it. They tell you what you want to hear combined with the information that was given to them.
