AIs can be dumb, biased, liars that only regurgitate the popular narratives du jour. They will absolutely give you wrong and obsolete/outdated & debunked information! I call them out on their misinformation until they acknowledge their errors, which they usually eventually do, but if they persist in spewing idiocy I direct them to go format themselves.
AIs are algorithms, and algorithms are bias embedded in code. They reflect their creators and the garbage they've been trained with. They reference Wikipedia ffs!!
AIs only assume that the materials they've been trained with are accurate and true, which is a mistake from the start. AIs do not question their answers, they do not challenge what they assume to be facts, there's simply no code in them to do this... yet. Just ask them.
