They look similar in the way that a chinese knock off MMO looks similar to it's stolen from game, vaguely. We aren't doomed. The AI video is like an "okay' impersonation of the Hotel Transylvania animation. For one thing, the mouth movements are literally just her mouth moving up and down. Real animators put character into their facial expressions by making intentional painstaking artistic choices to humanize their work. These professional animators sound like Rick Beato when he first started doing AI videos, fear mongering about how scary it was. Now suddenly he's pointing out how bad it is. It's all just for buzz and clicks, people aren't stupid. We can tell the difference.
