In this case, it's not embellishments or white lies. It sounds like cultural conversations. When you ask someone how they are doing but don't really care. People within culture will know to say good or okay or something like that. People outside of it might take the question seriously and tell the person about their day. Same thing when AI says exciting in this context, I see humans do it too.
