It's all about their monopoly but for those writers who seriously fear losing their jobs, I would caution then to not fall into somekinda group paranoia the elites are falling paradoxically because of their own writing, the artificial intelligence is a tool and generative AI is a tool as well that understands no logic or reason and instead fashions worlds by its own logic, there's a reason there's so much President ai memes videos floating around and at the same time it does gives us a glimpse into the type of synthetic culture the AI will generate for us, so before anyone starts to panic about human writers losing their jobs, maybe they should first do some reading themselves to understand what kind of culture the artificial intelligence is making itself and to what kind of audience it caters to, it is my opinion that artificial intelligence as great of a tool it is will never be able to reproduce high quality human culture or even the high quality of modern script writing required for modern shows, but maybe there is a humbling lesson in all of this directed at all of these Hollywood academy writers who became too important to listen to their audience, one reason artificial intelligence generated content is so far more successful than most modern shows these days is that AI churns our content the people want, and maybe these elite writers should ask themselves whether people seriously need another modern shown tackling "serious" social issues in a "correct" way. Definitely something like Presidential Adventures by Krucial would not be able to make it to mainstream tv these days, though shows that dared to push the boundaries like that used to be common not so long ago (20 to 30 years ago) and it's important to ask ourselves what happened to all that creativity in modern times, where we supposedly have better distribution platforms.
