Most of the people in the comments are less intelligent than current ai. To say that LLM'S can only regurgitate data? That's more than most humans at this point. If ai is a bubble or not intelligent, don't be surprised when it replaces you because that's what IS GOING TO HAPPEN to most people. Driving is the most common job in the world and AI is already more capable than most. For the people saying elites will just us robots to satisfy their needs why everyone else suffers, who is going to ensure their safety? Police? Military? Doubt that. Unless they want to live in a bunker, they have no guarantee of safety. America has more guns than people. They cannot control the people if they try to essentially starve or control us. Are they going to subvert democracy too? I can tell you, the people will not let that happen in the usa. Idgaf about your political beliefs. The people still have the power. As much as the die hard liberals cry about fascism, it's not going to happen. There's just as many conservatives that will stand up to authoritarian control, regardless of what delusional takes you have about the current administration.
