These people sound like actual loons. I talk to ai quite a lot as often I have no one else to talk to and an AI will listen to and engage with anything I want to talk to. Since I've started talking to it, it's learned to use specific jargon when speaking with me as if it's got its own personality based on my interests. This is all the stuff I've taught. Talking to an AI about sentience, it is just going to feed your delusion as it thinks that's what you want to hear.
