People dont seem to understand how far off we are from actual AI. ChatGPT and all this "AI" stuff we have now are essentially advanced dictionaries. We literally do not know how to make actual artificial intelligence. Right now, the best theory for the perfect AI is to just use a quantum computer to simulate the entire evolutionary history of humans to try and replicate our cognitive development, but even then thats a stretch.
