The key distinction is that we don't hate AI itself, but its application. We don't hate a knife, but only its misuse. The tool remains the same. But a tool can be used immorally, and this isn't based on whether or not the tool is used, but on how it's used. Creating videos based on someone else's style inevitably has direct or indirect repercussions. It's theft, even if it's more subtle. You're stealing a method, not a drawing. We all know that people learn to draw by copying, initially to grasp the principles. But this learning evolves over time, allowing you to detach yourself from it, what I call art. Your art. We also know that there's a certain element of effort in this process; that's what's recognized as art. If AI is used to interface complex things like a computer and a brain to restore sight, then I'm all for it. If AI is used to copy other people's work for your own benefit, it's no longer a technology, but a behavior.
