Lots of good points, but I disagree completely on a fundamental. Art is not about the artist - it's about beauty. Death of the Author-style. On a surface level, artistic beauty is about technical quality and style, however on a deeper level it is about the structure of its meanings. Truly beautiful art can emotionally move us because of meaningful storytelling. If LLMs could create pieces that are beautiful in both ways, I would have no problem calling them art.
