You made a good point but honestly the original argument these commenters are making is innately in bad faith. It assumes the artist is taking shortcuts by using tools in a program dedicated to streamlining the creation of art in a digital format. Whereas with ai image generation (it isn’t art as far as I’m concerned), the only human element is creating the prompt. Morally I don’t think you can attribute the stolen influence used to create the image (Art pinched from the internet without consent) as “human influence”, and even so if it was, it isn’t by the hand of the one generating the image. Just another weak attempt to try to justify a morally questionable act
