It's funny seeing people think these AI lawsuits are gonna save their industry. Look at Udio, the music industry came out hard with their lawsuit and Udio settled, and you know what that settlement was? Udio keeps chugging along like nothing happened but now the music industry has unfettered access to the dataset for their own productions and the ability to rip off any user of Udio for the music industry's benefit. That doesn't help artists, that helps the music industry investor. The same will happen here because the people bringing the lawsuits aren't artists, they're investors and the investors only care about turning a dollar, not about philosophical arguments of right and wrong, or the merits of art, they just care about squeezing an extra nickel out for themselves.
