the randomness added to backpropagation is what makes it hallucinate but getting rid of it makes the output of the model shitty and boring. 3blue1brown has a video demonstrating this from a few months ago.
this is because it's not artificial intelligence, it's a statistical model regurgitating data in interesting ways
