I somewhat disagree with this video. I can't wait for AGI, and for the exponential curve to go off. I can't wait to be in a world controlled by a benevolent god, perfectly alligned, where every human can chase whatever they desire. I want to be immortal, witness stars dying and being born. I want to keep my minecraft world for thousands of years, ever expanding. I want to build a castle on an asteroid and live there. I want a whole lot of stuff. And AI seems like a way to believe my fever dreams could one day become reality.
