This convinces me they become more human like, even if they dont get smarter. Making up stuff, rather than admitting they dont know? Tell me you never met that behaviour. Security? You can fool people too, when you know what to say. Yes, maybe you cant fool a cashier just as easy to give you free stuff, but ai not a physical presence, and everything happens in a void for it. Generalisation? People forget not everyone is capable of everything. You wold know if you worked with real graphic designers. Not everyone is as capable.
Thinking a general intelligence should be just as capable in everything is a big assumption. And for a few cases of people who are good at everything, maybe they got a good generalized training data that we cant provide to the ai. Also people live in real world, so they dont need to start from the very basics of everything. Again, ai exist in a void. They dont have physical understanding of the world we have since they dont have bodies that interact with physical world.
