Personally i’d consider AI art real art but *only* if it’s a part of the final piece rather than the piece itself. Throughout all forms of art and entertainment, artists often borrow, take inspiration or recreate other artist’s work. Using AI to generate a piece is not really that different from my perspective, but a true artist doesn’t just blatantly copy, they expand or build upon it. They “do their own thing with it” so to speak. I think AI can be a beautiful tool for art if it’s utilised in such a matter, a supporting tool that true artists can use to enhance or expand on their art. But to claim ai generated “art” on it’s own is real art is nonsense
