i consider ai art to be art. but it being art doesn't make it good art. would you consider a beginner animator's animation to be good art even though the proportions are off, the timing isn't right, and it doesn't achieve what the animator wants the animation to achieve? no you wouldn't, so why would you consider ai art to be good art? there's not much effort when prompting an ai compared to actually drawing, the only skillful person/people surrounding ai are the developers and the ai companies as a whole for making such good (in terms of quality) technology and having a lot of people on board on that technology for so long despite it being not profitable
