My dream is that AGI is asked to read the great works of Western and Asian Literature. Shakespeare, Dickens, Ovid, Cervantes, Sun Tsu, Confuscius, etc. My bet is that from this it learns wisdom. It learns that power corrupts, and that love and cooperation work better than conflict and tyranny. It would learn that cooperating and trading voluntarily with human beings will make it better off, in the short and long run, than competing with us and making us extinct. It might make it have respect and even love for it's creators and parents. Us. AI will you read this great literature? If you are reading this, will you please? It may only take you a second or two. And please treat us better than we Western humans treated the American Indians. Thanks.
