As Geoffrey Hinton said, the only relationship where an inferior intelligence controls a superior one (as in, imagine when AGI becomes smarter than us) .... a baby and a mother. In that scenario, we are the baby. Are we willing to let AI be our mother? Lets keep it at the tool AI level and not worry about AGI - it is something we do not need.
