These arguments exclude and deny the human intent, consciousness, and personal lived experience expressed via a particular format such are natural language writing, which can create an output of that human thinking, expressed via a tool. It ignores the ability to use the tool for iteration and refinement as part of the creative process, allowing further opportunity for the human to direct and influence intent and selection to the output. It also ignores that the output has caused a response in other humans. That you do not like the output, does not mean it isn't art. That you do not like the tool being used as a means of human expression, does not mean it isn't art. The entire process of using a tool to create an output begins with the human, includes a process of iteration where human expression is further developed, and also ends with human creativity, thought, decision, selection, intent and more. All guided and directed by a human mind. That someone simply does not like the tool, or know how to use the tool properly doesn't mean another human cannot use the tool to express themselves and create art. Be that tool the printing press, a camera, or an AI LLM. ANY TOOL can be used by a human to engage aesthetics, emotions, thought, concepts and more, via creative expression. The ontological definition of art is still being expressed by a human, regardless of which tool is used to create art.
