Thank you for your insights! I do feel like AI art is talking to ghosts. Hell, Smurfs 5 is talking to ghosts. We reach for art when we want to connect with each other, to find meaning. Art is a tool to communicate something. Art created without intentionality or solely for a profit margin can’t do that.
