This whole situation with AI art vs. the art community reminds me of a few years ago when animators suddenly had to compete with ppl taking original animations, putting them into a program that turns it into 60fps, then calling it "better". That program and AI art lack artistic intent, and it surely won't be the "future of art" since it's just not reliable enough. The gaming and animation industries will continue to work with their in-house artists, and the online art community will continue to have a loyal following.
