I haven’t heard you person articulate how UBI would work and be distributed. For example a person making 200k a year whose job or business is complete replaced by AI. How would UBI replace their income, let alone pay their current bills? And there are many small business that make more than 200k.
In comparison say someone working a job making 50k. Their job is replaced. What UBI would they receive?
Would this money come from taxing companies that used AI to replace them?
As costs continue to rise and people just simply have less money. How is UBi adjusted? How to plan for anything?
How would you start a business to compensate UBI if people simply stop using many services?
Not explaining how UBI is going to work isn’t offering a solution. And if government doesn’t get out in front of it yesterday it will be too late. Even these smug talking heads can be replaced.
This is a huge problem.
