So, I am not Murican and know little about criminal law in the States. But, if DC banned criminalizing deepfakes, would that - in theory of course - legalize creating deepfakes of all the politicians who voted in favour of that bill having intercourse with their own children?
If so, I have a sneaking suspicion that lawmakers might regret this one.
