you funny people. "AI", as you like to call it.. will never be aware or sentient, PERIOD. Do you people actually think that just because alexa answers your requests, that it somehow is capable of intelligence? These computer geeks think they can program a computer to do a specific task like correlate data and repackage it, then have the gall to claim its "thinking for itself"? HA! All a computer is is a very complicated calculator that switches voltage states, either 5 volts (1) or 0 volts (0) really, really, really, fast....a computer is just a THING, and isn't any more aware of itself than a rock or a scrap of aluminum would be! Even if it was, HOW COULD IT EVER be able to know that any sequence of binary code would equal something tangible? Show a picture of a dog on a screen to a 5 year old child, and they would instantly recognize it, be able to formulate a concept of that dog, its bark, its cuteness, etc......all a computer would see ( it cant actually "see" anything, just variations of pixel intensity...but i digress) is: 0110101011010101010111010111100000101101011110101111111000001010101010110101101......etc. Mankind has been trying to obtain AI since the invention of the transistor.....still hasn't happened yet. Medical science still doesn't understand fully how the brain works, yet these punk millennials think they can "program" a computer to think????? It took evolution literally BILLIONS of years to accomplish the level we are currently at, and they think they can do better, huh? What a joke.
