He's not correct about competing with the big boys in the long term. If we build a decentralized local AI network, each local AI might not be as powerful as a monolithic model, but through the power of networking, and if the diversity of different local agents can be leveraged, they will, in total, represent better overall intelligence. This is a proven principle, but it has to be done right. Think of everything like a neural network. And every local AI agent acts as a neuron in a massive network. And new chip techs like TSUs (Probabilistic Sampling Units) and even fungal reservoir computing are far closer than people realize. When people can grow and scale their own organic computer AI networks, no company will be able to control that. And this isn't sci-fi.
