23:23 here is my problem. I don’t have many physical disabilities except some nerv issues in my arms and hands that I haven’t gotten figured out yet, but honestly since Geneva, I got so good I was excited because I’ve had so many ideas of just making fanart back when I was a teenager and I never could because I’ve got dysgraphia along with autism and whatever’s in my head. I can’t get it out on paper. I can’t do images. I can’t hardly do math on paper and I can’t write a story without it sounding like it was written by a third grader even though my reading comprehension and vocabulary was already at a college level when I was in third grade and it hasn’t gone down. That’s for sure. I would burn through books so fast that by the time I was in sixth grade my elementary/middle school didn’t have any books at a suitable reading level for me left that I hadn’t read. This was when the accelerated reading program was a thing and I was struggling for the first time in my life because I really didn’t want to reread books, but I couldn’t get perfect scores on the test because my memory was a little fuzzy and I had to get perfect scores passing. It wasn’t enough. Anyway, I’ve never been able to draw without it being shaky, but I’ve had so many ideas and ways. I wanted to express those ideas as a picture. I was a total nerd in high school in middle school, but I was really in the fanart and fanfiction, but I could never actually take part and I’ve always wanted to so bad Now that I’m an adult, it’s not as big of a part of my life, but just being able to use it to go back and do those things I couldn’t really do and tweak it in ways that I wouldn’t be able to do with somebody I hired because I’m not gonna boss somebody around like that, not to mention, I ain’t got the money to commission anything, it’s exciting and so fun I’m OK being a tourist . I know I’m not an artist, but navigating the limitations and specific that AI needs to get whatever you want out of it is a skill. The thing that gets me though is the environmental impact because what I would be using generative AI for wouldn’t make me money or anything anyway it would just be for my own personal library , maybe a poster or two on my wall. So I don’t think copyright would be an issue with my use. But I do know my use isn’t the common use for it and it just makes me sad that the one thing that gave me a little bit of creative freedom from my rigid autistic brain is evil lol. Why couldn’t it just be a tool to have fun with instead of people trying to use other people’s art to make money?
