The thing that scared me the most was how many of the older generation in the animation and concept art industry almost instantly just said "Yeah, I'm willing to give up art as a profession, cause I've already done it before." (since many of the 2D artists had to "give up" 2D to learn 3D in the late 2000s. Same with Traditional Animators when Digital Animation became a thing.)
It disappoints me. Some of my favorite older art industry veterans that're now on Youtube made videos about how great the AI tech is, how "Stupid" it is for people to be scared, and that we all should embrace AI cause it's the future etc.
One of them made a video screaming how stupid people are for not embracing AI. It's terrifying to see so many veterans just ignore the concerns just cause "They've been through it before".
