What I like to call them and technically the right way to call them is "cu- I mean "prompters" and ai "art" is and should be called "ai images" because 1. All they do is prompt they don't "create the 'art' using ai" they prompt an ai to create an image and 2. it's not art it's an image and a stolen one at that.
In regards to the ai itself for me, if the ai becomes sentient and gets a physical body and actually draws the art itself (digitally or traditional or any other medium) then that's art and it's the ai's property too.
